Boron Nitride in PVD and Plasma Systems
Components made from sintered Boron Nitride provide ideal solutions for electrical insulation in PVD and plasma systems.
HeBoSint® components, such as covers and insulating rails, frames, protective tubes, shields, coatings, and insulators, ensure the proper functioning of the PVD arc, preventing equipment damage.
In cases where unwanted metal residue accumulates in PVD and plasma systems, it can be easily cleaned if the surfaces have been previously coated with HeBoCoat®.
In addition to offering the HeBoSint® product range for all Arc-PVD (Cathodic Arc Physical Vapour Deposition), Plasma, and CVD (Chemical Vapour Deposition) systems, there is also the possibility to manufacture machined parts with specific customer measurements.

HeBoSint®– Sintered Boron Nitride Parts for PVD and Plasma Systems
Sintered Boron Nitride parts – HeBoSint® – are precisely machined according to the 3D model or plan sent by the customer, resulting in sintered Boron Nitride parts with specific measurements for their application.
Depending on the environment and working conditions, sintered parts have different and specific compositions. The HeBoSint® range includes three product lines:
- HeBoSint® Pure Line: Parts made from pure Boron Nitride, without binders, specifically designed for applications with high thermal conductivity requirements, low thermal expansion coefficient, and a working temperature of up to 2300°C in a vacuum.
- HeBoSint® Classic Line: A versatile and reliable range of sintered Boron Nitride components. Due to its properties, it is the line with the highest number of applications.
- HeBoSint® Strong Line: A line with higher mechanical properties. By sintering Hexagonal Boron Nitride with Zirconium Dioxide or Aluminum Nitride, exceptional results are achieved in applications with high mechanical demands.
HeBoCoat®– Boron Nitride Coatings for PVD and Plasma Systems
Boron Nitride coatings – HeBoCoat® – are marketed in water-based and ethanol-based versions to meet specific customer needs.
We understand that each application in PVD and Plasma systems requires coatings with specific performance, which is why there are three lines with differentiated properties:
- HeBoCoat® Power Line: The most extensive range, with products in water-based and ethanol-based versions. Ideal when anti-adhesion and lubrication are needed.
- HeBoCoat® Expert Line: The specialised coating line for the most demanding situations. Available in water-based, it is the coating used when you want to go a step further.
- HeBoCoat® Spray Line: The Boron Nitride spray/aerosol coating for direct and easy application. It allows for the rapid application of anti-adhesive and lubricating films without the need for additional equipment.
