Boron Nitride in Industrial Furnaces
The design of high-temperature industrial furnaces operating at significantly above 1500°C incorporates heating elements made from carbon, tungsten, or molybdenum. As a general rule, these elements are electrically insulated using ceramic oxides designed for high temperatures.
These insulating ceramic oxides are heavily stressed due to the increasing trend of using shorter production cycles with faster heating and cooling rates, which leads to premature failures in components and increased furnace downtime. This creates a need for more frequent maintenance.
When compared to traditionally used parts made of aluminium oxide, parts made with sintered Boron Nitride HeBoSint® have a significantly longer lifespan. In fact, for thermal processes at extremely high temperatures, in a vacuum, or inert conditions, Boron Nitride is often the only viable solution.

HeBoSint® –Sintered Boron Nitride Parts for Industrial Furnaces
Sintered Boron Nitride parts – HeBoSint® are precisely machined based on the 3D model or plan provided by the customer. This allows for obtaining sintered Boron Nitride parts with specific measurements for the application.
Depending on the environment and working requirements, sintered parts have specific compositions. The HeBoSint® range has three product lines:
HeBoSint® Pure Line: The purest range, composed only of Boron Nitride without any binders, specifically designed for applications with high thermal requirements (high thermal conductivity, low thermal expansion coefficient, and a working temperature of up to 2300°C in a vacuum).
HeBoSint® Classic Line: The versatile and reliable range of sintered Boron Nitride components. Due to their properties, this range is suitable for a wide range of applications.
HeBoSint® Strong Line: The line promising higher mechanical properties. Exceptional results are achieved by sintering Hexagonal Boron Nitride with Aluminum Nitride or Zirconium Dioxide. It provides outstanding performance in specific applications in environments with higher mechanical demands.
HeBoCoat® – Boron Nitride Coatings for Industrial Furnaces
On the other hand, Boron Nitride coatings HeBoCoat® are available in ethanol-based and water-based formulations, meeting the needs of various applications. These coatings can generally be applied using the different standard application methods available in the market.

HeBoCoat® Power Line: The most extensive line of the three, with products in both water-based and ethanol-based formulations. This line is the all-in-one package when looking for non-stick and lubrication capabilities.
HeBoCoat® Expert Line: The specialised range of coatings for the most demanding applications. Available in a water-based formulation, these coatings are used when you need to go the extra mile.
HeBoCoat® Spray Line: Boron Nitride coating available in spray/aerosol cans for direct and easy application. Ideal for applying non-stick and lubricating films quickly and without the need for extra equipment.
