Description
HeBoSint® SL-N 300 is a Boron Nitride ceramic with a SiAlON secondary phase. The HeBoSint® SL-N 300 ceramic exhibits optimised wear and tear behaviour thanks to the addition of a silicon-aluminium oxynitride. Components made from this material show their advantage precisely where high mechanical stress and beneficial wear resistance are required.
Optimised wear behaviour reduces the probability of detached particles in the fused material and increases the quality and machinability of your product. The combination of maximum dielectric strength, chemical resistance, excellent thermal shock resistance and low material weight makes this boron nitride composite ceramic suitable for various applications such as metal casting, thin strip casting and PVD.

The HeBoSint® STRONG LINE product line stands for boron nitride composite materials with outstanding mechanical properties, very high gas tightness and high wear resistance. The addition of zirconium oxide or aluminium nitride increases the mechanical strength. The boron nitride content of STRONG LINE provides the specific boron nitride properties such as electrical insulation and very good separating properties. A product line with a strong character for system components that are exposed to high mechanical loads during application, e.g. cover strips in PVD systems as well as steel industry components.
