Description
HeBoCoat® PL-W 250 is a highly concentrated, water based boron nitride coating. Binders ensure good adhesion to refractary material, including at high temperatures. HeBoCoat® PL-W 250 was specifically developed for use in aluminium foundries to effectively prevent the unwanted adhesion of the melt to equipment and a wide variety of components.
Typical applications
- Coating of launders, runners, tundishes, skim dams, hot top rings and tools in continuous casting applications
- Coating of ladles and crucibles
